KIZHUR POORAM
One of the finest and big festival of the village kizhur is called as Kizhur Pooram. People of kizhur who are staying away from the village even at out of country will plan their vacation according to the festival season. It is a three days festivel with lots and lots of enjoyment. Here is one snap from the pooram location. The same cannot be mentioned through writing. But it has to be expereinced.

MY KIZHUR
I am very happy to introduce all about my small village. The village is sorrounded by two mountains viz., Ananganmala and Koonanmala (mala means mountian). This small village is located in Palakkad Dist, near Ottappalam. From ottappalam it is 14 kms to my village called as KIZHUR. If Kerala is god's own country, my village is god's own village. The possibility of heavy depression, Blood pressure, Sugar etc will be very less compared to other parts of country. Because all the peoples lived their lives only. The unpollutted place I had ever seen. Peoples lived with their own culture, love and social commitments. Each and every body knows between them. Any outsider enters the village will be known seperately. Now a days it is very special of all the film directors since number of film shooting is being taken place. Rest in next post with photos.
